Validamycin Fungicide For Rice Shealth Blight and Soil-Borne Fungal Disease Management
Validamycin A (alson known as Validacin) is an agriculture antibiotic fungicide, derived from Streptomyces hygroscopicus, delivering effective controls rice sheath blight, Rhizoctonica solani disease, vegetable damping off and other soil borne fungal disease . It acts on hyphae and destroys the fungus by its contact action and controls the spread of diseases. With a low mammalian toxicity profile and minimal environmental impact, Aminoglycosides Validamycin offers farmers a safe and reliable soil fungus inhibitor for managing destructive fungal pathogens while supporting sustainable agriculture.

USE FOR
TARGET DISEASES
• Rice blast • Rice false Smut • Wheat eyespot • Corn sheath blight • Corn southern leaf blight • Corn northern leaf blight • Chili /Pepper blight • Turf brown patch -
MODE OF ACTION
- Validamycin A inhibits the enzyme trehalase in target fungi, disrupting the breakdown of trehalose , which is a critical sugar for fungal metabolism .
- Its strong systemic absorption and transmission characteristic can be quickly and massively absorbed by crops, inhibiting or disrupts the normal metabolism of pathogen, causing pathogen to lose their infect ability.
- Its systemic properties allow it to move within the plant and provide protective and curative activity, making Validacin an effective soil fungus inhibitor and root rot prevention pesticide for vegetables and cereals.
