Fumokar Isaria fumosorosea insecticide for silverleaf whitefly, asian citrus psyllids, broad mites and thrips control
Fumokar is biological insecticide containing entomopathogenic fungi Isaria Fumosorosea strain CJ901 (Formerly known as Paecilomyces fumosoroseus or Cordyceps fumosorosea),innovative designed for integrated pest mangement (IPM) programs, this cutting-edge microbial pesticide product offers a nature solution to organic control greenhouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum), silverleaf whitely (Bemisia tabaci) and asian citrus psyllids (Diaphorina citri Kuwayama),helps keep piercing and sucking insect population below damaging levels and supports sustainable farming practices. The flexible application methods and timing make it ideal for use both indoors and outdoors plants in greenhouses, production fields, vegetable gardens, orchards, and more.

MODE OF ACTION
- The isaria fumosorosea insecticide infecting and killing target tobacco whitefly and asian citrus psyllids through direct spore contact.
- Under favorable environmental conditions, the fungal spores (blastospores or conidia) attach to the insect's cuticle, germinate, and penetrate the outer layer. Once contact silverleaf whitefly or citrus psyllids, the Isaria fungus proliferates by forming hyphal bodies, mechanically disrupting internal organs, and initiating tissue necrosis.
- This process secretes toxins and secondary metabolites, disrupts the insect's hemolymph, interferes with metabolism, and ultimately leads to feeding cessation, inactivity, and death within 7 to 10 days.
- Following the host's death, the entomopathogenic fungus emerges under humid conditions, releasing more spores to infect nearby insects, allowing for continued population suppression over time.

Application & Dosage
- Apply 1-1.5 gram Fumokar water soluble insecticide per liter of water via foliar spray at the first signs of plant bugs presence in the crops. If high insects pressure, Repeat the application 3 times with the interval of 7-10 days until silverleaf whitefly or citrus psyllids well controlled.
- Mix 1.5-2 gram Fumokar per liter of water via soil drench or irrigation.
- Add 0.5 -2 gm Fumokar into liter of water in recirculatory or a hydroponic liquid sytem.
- Apply 5-10 gm Fumokar into liter of water, incorporated into 1 yard of potting soil by spray application.
How to use Fumokar Isaria fumosorosea insecticide
- Before use, ensure all spray equipment is thoroughly clean. Dissolve the required amount of I. fumosorosea insecticide in a bucket containing a small amount of warm water (approximately 20°C) and stir for 1 hour to fully suspend and hydrate the spores. Avoid exposing the solution to direct sunlight or extreme heat. Allow the sediment to settle, then pour the spore suspension (excluding the sediment) into the spray tank. Add the necessary amount of water to the tank and spray immediately after preparation. Keep the mixture agitated during application to ensure consistent coverage.
- For optimal results, apply biorational insect control at the first signs of plant bugs larvae, nymphs, or eggs. Since fungal germination and growth occur over several days, applications should be initiated before pest pressure becomes severe.
- The ideal application conditions include relative humidity of 80% or higher for 8–10 hours, with low air movement and temperatures between 70–90°F. If humidity is below 50%,apply immediately after general watering or irrigation. Fumokar is effective within a pH range of 4.0–9.0.
- For proper coverage, apply 1000 liters per hectare on small or young crops and 2000–3000 liters per hectare on well-developed crops. As a contact insecticide, thorough coverage of the undersides of leaves is essential for effective natural insect control.
- It can be mixed with copper-based fungicides but should not be combined with other fungicides. Additionally, avoid applying isaria fumosorosea insecticide within five days of any fungicide applications other than copper-based products.
- For outdoor, non-greenhouse applications, avoid spraying while bees are actively foraging.
